14th Deadly Sin by: James Patterson and Maxine Paetro

James Patterson 14th Deadly Sin      I love the Women’s Murder Club series by James Patterson.  I get the latest novel as soon as it comes out and devour in a few days at most.  14th Deadly Sin was no exception.  I love the characters in this series and the fact that although the story line revolves around a homicide, there is always the underlying story of friendship and loyalty.

Detective Lindsay Boxer is the type of friend you would want to have in real life.  She is a kick ass detective but loving wife, mother and friend.  Her intelligence and dedication lead her and her colleagues to solve a majority of cases.  It is easy to envision the scenes as you read this series because James Patterson and Maxine Paetro write them so vividly.  The chapters are short, just like all other James Patterson books, and that makes for a delightfully easy read.

At the end of the novel, I usually find myself hoping that the series will continue but at the end of this book, we were left with a cliff hanger.  I don’t ever remember that happening before in this series and if it did, it was at the very start of the series.  I am now desperate to read the next book which doesn’t have a release date this year.  😦

If you haven’t started this series yet, what are you waiting for?
