Displacement A Travelogue by: Lucy Knisley

displacement

Book #54 for #ReadMyOwnDamnBooks.

I picked this up to read something quickly while I decided on what genre I wanted to read next.  This is the story of Lucy’s cruise “vacation” with her elderly grandparents.  Lucy shows herself to be a caring, compassionate person who is also very human in her feelings.  Caring for elderly people is very difficult but when there is love there, the feelings are more empathetic and sympathetic.

It was once again, beautifully drawn and the story came across very clearly.

I gave this 4 crowns.
